🧭 CCPA / CPRA Compliance Disclosure (California Residents)

Current CPRA Status: At this time, we do not meet the statutory thresholds to be considered a "business" under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). The law generally applies to companies that:

  • Had over $25M in annual gross revenue, OR
  • Buy, sell, or share personal information of 100,000+ consumers/households annually, OR
  • Derive 50%+ of annual revenue from selling/sharing personal information

🔍 FCRA Soft Credit Pull Notice

When you apply for a contractor bond, we may obtain a soft credit inquiry to determine eligibility and pricing.

  • This is not visible to creditors
  • It does not affect your credit score
  • It is used solely for bond underwriting purposes

By submitting the bond application, you authorize Glacier Point Insurance Services, Inc., and our underwriting partners, to obtain your credit information as allowed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

We use secure, encrypted transmission for all submitted data, restrict access to authorized personnel only, and retain information only for as long as required by insurance and regulatory obligations.

Insurance Privacy Laws (GLBA & California Insurance Code)

Information collected to obtain quotes, underwrite, place, or service insurance may be governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and California's Insurance Information and Privacy Protection Act (Cal. Ins. Code §791 et seq.). GLBA requires privacy and safeguarding practices for non-public personal information. California's Insurance Code also sets specific rules for insurers and agents on collection, use, and disclosure of insurance information.
